I would like to share my main resourse for identifying my moth photos. Because of all the help, advice, and photo donations I receive from them (especially Bob Patterson, the webmaster) I have made this link to the North American Moth Photographers Group at the Mississippi Entomological Museum at Mississippi State University a permanent link that you will find invaluable, as I do.
As I stated on the Main page, I only ask that if a mistake is found by anyone, please contact me via this link: "Email" so that I may correct my mistake(s). Moths can and usually are a tough bunch of critters to pin down an exact name on. Some moths or "Lepidoptera" can only be brought down to species level by scientific means and by the experts.
